I got diabetes when I was 6 months old. Had it my whole life and take insulin, it has forced me to live a healthy and active lifestyle. If nothing else I see it as a blessing more than anything else. I urge you to take care of yourself now or you will have complitaions down the road.

I don't have to take insulin shots, thank god. Just taking a pill. I've stop drinking regular sodas and not eating sugar foods and carbs. Lots of fruits and vegetables. The hardest think is kicking the soda habit, but I haven't had any in 2 weeks.

I got diabetes when I was about 15. It took time to get used to the flavor but I switched over to diet pop. I love the shit. I used to just take pills but some health complications forced me to switch to insulin a couple of years ago. You get used to it. Just means no more nights of drinking a case of beer in one shot.

I am scared of this. My Dad Grandfather and 2 uncles all suffer from it. I think i have it but have no been diagnosed yet. I went ot the Doctors on 2 seperate occations in the past 6 years. both times they more or less laughed about it saying I was too young.

I eat a meal I fall asleep. I fall hard to. Now its like eat dinner and the 15 minutes later I'm out cold. It's fuckin scaring me. Also If I don't eat every like 2 hours I get dizzy and shaky and can't think straight.

O and the weird think is if I get like that I grab a pop or something sugary and its ok after about 15 mintues or so. thats why I associate it with diabeties.

That could be a sign of chronic low blood sugar. You should ask your doctor about that.
