Valentines Day
The Hallmark Holiday that every man dreads. Youre either reminded that youre lonely or youre forced to buy overpriced flowers or chocolates for your
woman.
So what's everyone doing today? Romantic dinner? Nothing? Sex?
I think Mrs. Moron and I might try to go out to some place for dinner. We're not sure. Neither of us really care about Valentine's day, but what the
hell, right? Food is food, and I love to eat out.
An interesting fact that might have plenty of guys moving to Japan....
http://www.thejapanfaq.com/celebrations.html
"There's Valentine's Day here in Japan too. But not quite the same. In Japan, it's the GIRLS who give the boys chocolate on Feb. 14th. And not just to
someone they like. There is a uniquely Japanese characteristic of giving "Giri-Choko" -- giving chocolate to the men one would rather see skydiving
without a parachute -- the boss, namely. "Giri" means obligation, but in Japan it has a deep sense of long-term committment.
Since gift-giving is a common custom in Japan, many confectionary companies also try to push their own manufactured celebration, "White Day" on March
14th, where it's the boys turn to give the girls something. This attempt has been at best a limited success."

worst day of the year hands down, single or not
The very existence of flamethrowers proves that sometime, somewhere, someone said to themselves, ?You know, I want to set those people over there on
fire, but I?m just not close enough to get the job done.? George Carlin

Have you ever noticed how crayons are a lot like M&M's? All the colors tend to taste the same.

i got my lady a flight to NYC for next weekend. she's an art student, and really wanted to go out while the gates were up in central park, plus
there's a bunch of good stuff at the met right now. i can't go, but i called up a friend of ours in brooklyn and planned it all out to suprise her.

Me and my girl had to work valentines day, so basically we are doing something tonight. But I guess it's more like homer simpsons attitude, get drive
through and then we're doing it twice. Actually even more romantic, going out for supper, buying Saw and then watching it. Nothing says I love you
like violent horror movies.

I couldn't give two shits for that holiday, but I did go and spend a few hours with that girl I'm not REALLY dating rolling around on the bed...and
the couch...and the floor...and, well, you get the idea. No romantic bullshit, but the booty was in full effect.

i don't really go in for the pressures of vday... or the overpriced dinners (that require reservations like six months in advance around here). we
keep it simple... my wife and i usually get each other one gift and we have a great meal at home (this year was stone crab claws, cheese fondue,
chocolate soufflet and a couple bottles of wine). she always makes me a card, and i buy her the gaudiest thing i can find in the hallmark store.
If I fail math, there goes my chance at a good job and a happy life full of hard work.
