Sting & Medieval Music
I guess technically, it's "Sting & Elizabethan Music".
The show on PBS was about his new release, Songs From the Labyrinth, where he and lutenist Edin Karamazov perform songs by John Dowland.
I like Sting ok, and am a fan of OLD-school music, but the combination was strange.

Did anyone else see this or hear the album?

i think the fact that sting's voice was so identifiable is what was throwing me off.
i love ancient choral and instrumental music like that, but it is so obviously sting, it kept focusing on that.

any 'medieval babes' fans here?

they can come across a little gimmicky, a little goth, but their records are amazing. i have their first three records; they're all good, but the
first is my favorite.

Saw them, met them, love them.
And anything Sting does has got to be self-indulgent crap.
Well, its this place where nobody works, and the pigs don\'t give you any shit. Everyone smokes weed and gets drunk all day. Its a place where
cunts like me and you can truly take it easy and relax. Know what I mean?
