Yeah, for the most part. I think there were some cameos of original members here and there? It's been awhile since I've seen it. Well worth watching
though.

that's why i never saw the movie.
i've been looking at the real skaters since i was a kid.
some i've even hung out with.
just seems too weird watching actors play people you're that familiar with.
i dunno. i'd probably check it out based on the recommendations of you two, though.

If it helps BD, Stacy Peralta wrote the movie. It was fucking awesome. I have both the movie and the documentary on dvd.

good movie.
i just watched a behind the seens thing about the movie too.
most of the actors actually did their on skating, and they had to learn
to skate on them old boards.
Besides the four main kids most of the other kids were actual skaters tho.
i thought all the actors did a great job, but Heath Ledger was real good.
funny part....
Tony hawk playin an astronaut and falling off the skateboard.
\"thank you very little\"

the sold the idea to hollywood
so stacy decided to make the documentary before the movie came out so the real facts could be told before the fiction fell in
most of the film is pretty good
from a skaters stand point better then thrashin
but still hollywood
and some of the skate parts were done by the actors the other shots were done be stacy and a bunch of the real guys from back then...
I enjoyed the film, but the doc is 1000% times better
best part of the film is trying to pick out all the real skaters from the actors...
in the bonus stuff it will tell you, but if you know them you can do it with out

I couldn't skate either. I sucked so hard. I tried my ass off every day, but I really sucked.

I have skateboarded my whole life and been in the Action Sports Industry as an athlete and a biz man and I fucking hated the doc. I can only listen to
a bunch of washed up geeks talking about how the started everything for so long. Skateboarding would be what it is today with or without you guys, get
over it.
The movie was really good, I enjoyed it a lot. The end when they are in the pool skating almost brought tears to my eyes. Almost.

I remember Mike Muir talking shit about how a few of the people, particularly Jay Adams mom, were portrayed in the movie as he knew them all and was
friends with them all. His brother Jim was one of the original Z-Boys.
