Anyone want a new Eagles coat?

I have a 2XL Reebok down-filled jacket. Black, has "Eagles" on back, the eagle logo on the left breast, NFL shield on right arm. It's brand new, given to me but never worn. I'm not an Eagles fan, so I'm willing to part with it. It's a really nice coat, just not my team. If anyone is interested in it, hit me up on myspace: http://www.myspace.com/waltonthinice. I'm letting the best offer have it. I'm not some flakey asshole looking to scam anyone, I just want to have someone who would want it to have it and in the process get a few bucks for it and in turn get something cool for my kid's birthday with the money. I'll post pictures of the jacket soon, but I just wanted to get the notice out now...

haha...I hear the Eagles may now resign Stallworth and Hood because they weren't getting the offers they were hoping for.

i don't really follow football, but i was impressed with how well garcia performed for a second stringer. why did philly let him go like that? and do they have someone as good for when mcnabb gets hurt again?

also, gabe, please post a pic of boogie standing around in texas with a big old puffy NFL coat on. hopefull it's one of those full length jawns.

I can't see how you would say they are in a rebuilding phase considering they made the playoffs last year with their backup. I love how people think McNabb's career is done. And I love how when Garcia won some games people forgot about the fact McNabb has the highest win % among active QB's and the second most playoff wins behind Brady.

If the Eagles run their offense like they did with Garcia, McNabb will run it better than Garcia.

I call it a rebuilding phase because the team isn't getting any younger and although they make the playoffs constantly, can't seem to do anything with it. No offense, but the Eagles will probably be as bad if not worse than they were last season and decline from there. they need fresh blood. The shit they have been doing has not worked for them.

Rebuilding is when you need to draft a franchise QB...not when you make the playoffs year in and out. They need to tweak a lot of shit, most notably their linebackers, where they really need young blood. And if they keep Stallworth, their WR's aren't bad, and the Patriots prove you don't need great ones. LB's however are a different story.

I'm telling you man, Mcnabb is not THAT quarterback for the Eagles. They DO need to look into a younger franchise possible qback to develop. The Eagles are a solid team but have proven that the line up they have stuck with will not cohede properly and every year they ALMOST get there is one more year of injurys and age.

As long as Mcnabb is at the helm, the Eagles will not be destined for greatness.

I remember people saying the samething about Manning too....

And Garcia will be making almost the same amount McNabb will be this year. I would not give a 36yo backup a 2yr 10mil contract.

And Juan...I think this may be the year the Phillies finally make it to the playoffs.

E-A-G-L-E-S EAGLES!

McNabb is great. I enjoy his playing style. My biggest ill with him is when he gets disappointed homeboy can throw the whole game away. He doesnt bounce back well. I dont think his best days have past, I just think he needs time on the field, and the faith of the Eagles bretheren.

It's a shame Philly and it's fans are so hard on their starting QB's, even back to Jaws and then Randall. They just always root for the backup or under dog. And I agree, McNabb is hitting what they call the prime of his career. 30-34 is usually when a QB is at his best.

I have no idea what the hell "we" saw in Coy Detmer. I didnt like the guy much. But you're right we are hard on the starting QBs. Which sucks. I think it all started when he got boo'd on draft day. Try carrying the heart of an entire city with no support. But he can take those tears all the way to the fucking bank.
