I dig any fight league that gives up and coming fighters a shot. I remember seeing a few talented dudes.
UFC is buying out Pride? No shit. BodogFight apparently got Emelianenko to fight for their promotion so between that and Quinton Jackson and CroCop
jumping ship, damn well could be.

Most of those IFL fights are old, actually... They've got a ton of work to do to really get a solid audience, however I agree that it is a great
place for young fighters to cut their teeth.
There is nothing set in stone, but it is very likely that the owners of UFC will own Pride FC very soon. There is a ton of contracts to be sorted
out, details and such, but it will likely be a done deal in the very near future. IFC president Dana White was eluding to this months ago in an
interview, so this doesn't seem like a mere rumour. PLus, the lawsuits going on within the Pride FC ranks isn't making for a good case for Pride
existing on it's own anymore.
Personaly, I hope that UFC does buy it out, but allows it to continue under the rules Pride had. I think it won't happen, though, because UFC rules
are there to protect the fighters as they are assets/property that cost the company a lot of money and they naturaly do not want these guys getting
hurt badly.

IFL has a ways to go before they get anywhere close to Pride, UFC or K1.
They're doin an IFL card at the Meadowlands in August, I might end up goin.
The rumors have been flyin around for months about UFC buying Pride... supposedly the deal is pretty much done. That'll be very interesting if it
happens.

Hey, Muttley...
Is it just my computer, or is the ECHC board fucked up?
I can't get into it at all...

That's been happening a lot lately with the ECHC board. I had that trouble for like 2 weeks.

I bought tickets to that shit the day they went on sale. It's the semi finals of the season. Im going to Mohegan next month to see one of the shows.
I love that shit.
And now... the IFL has two shows. One that's on MyNetwork TV, Battleground, that premiered on the 12th. That show wasn't so good. The one this past
Monday was much better. That show highlights certain teams or certain fighters.
They also have a show on FSN that focuses on single events only. It's an hour-long show, and it's usually shown about a month or less after the
fights actually happened.
I like the IFL and hope it grows. It's not even a year old yet, and they've got a show on network television. Pretty impressive. Their live shows
dont sell too well yet, but hopefully that'll pick up.

I was thinkin about Mohegan, but that will cost me a LOT of cash (mostly gambling)... it's either that or a tattoo so the choice is obvious.
Is that IFL shit still on Mondays? If it is NO chance of me ever watching it.... between 24, Heroes & Raw it doesn't stand a chance in my house.
And yes, the ECHC board is fucked for the time being... Vic needs to buy new hamsters to run that thing he calls a server.

Battleground is monday nights. The events on FSN are on Friday nights usually I think. They might have replays at different times. There's actually
a television schedule on the IFL website.
Im looking forward to the gambling at Mohegan. I went there for an IFL event in late December, and it was awesome. Good fights and I didnt lose much
money. I got a killer headache though because I forgot to bring my glasses and was squinting all night to see the fights. Not happening this time.
