Well, its this place where nobody works, and the pigs don\'t give you any shit. Everyone smokes weed and gets drunk all day. Its a place where cunts like me and you can truly take it easy and relax. Know what I mean?

I fucking love the pipes. I especially love hearing them playing somewhere around me, but it seems to always happen in some weird way where I hear them nearby but can never find the piper. That's happened to me at least once a year for the past 7 or 8 years now. And before it's suggested, no it's not just in my head. I've always been able to confirm it with someone around me that there is, in fact, someone playing bagpipes somewhere in the neighborhood.

Were they just smiling and nodding when they confirmed hearing said bagpipes?

Have you ever noticed how crayons are a lot like M&M's? All the colors tend to taste the same.

I should have taken lessons when I had the chance, but what 10 year old really wants to play the pipes? I wanted a drum kit, which I never got lol.

A lot of people ask me what kind of music I like. I love "soul music". My "soul music" isn’t a style, genre or niche. It’s music that is genuine. It’s a painful lyric, a dirty bassline, it’s a harrowing vocal, it’s feedback, it’s an anthem, it’s a love song, it’s anarchy. I’ve got my personal favourites but in the end it doesn’t matter who or where it comes from... so long as it’s good and it's real.

Thorp had a bagpiper at his wedding.

My dad played for years with the police band which is why I could have learned. Wish I did now but my wife hates them so I'd get shit haha.

you can hear the pipes around town every summer, and you never know where they are coming from, the sound just echoes off all the buildings, i love it.

but coming from where i live its no surprise really. (Nova Scotia---aka 'New Scotland' )
