In addition to regular drums, I play a variety of percussion including... Steel drums, bongos, and congas

You should start a band in PA. Or join Bringing Back The Glory, they can always use a drummer......

my brother knows how to play those really big xylophone things where you have to hold 2 mallets in each hand and play super fast. He can read music and can play all this other complicated percussion shit. How many hardcore drummers can do that?

I've been considering putting something together. But I'd like to dip my hat back into doing vocals. I'll play drums until I'm 50, but doing vocals for this style of music is limited. I loved it when I did it, but the band imploded. So I'm gonna try one more time.

I'd do it. Bands alot further from each other make that shit work. Just sayin'.

don't tempt me
I have a station wagon...
I'd probably want to play bass...
I love guitar but made the switch almost permanently 6 years ago

finding good guitarists is easy, loyal bass players, shit good luck...

so how fucked would this be, bassist and drummer looking to form band...
how often do you see that ad?

No really, I would do this. I have a guy here that I just jammed with today who is incredible on guitar. We could really make this happen.

Cool, let me know Steve. This weekends no good for me as well. But I'd definitely like to see this happen. Keep in touch.
