we have nothing to prove like kids on other boards do
we are all GROWN ups and we appreciate conversation wihtout all the crap you have to deal with elsewhere... some 15 year old calling you out becuase
his 7" collection of rare vinyl is better then yours.... even if mom bought it cause dad ran off with the maid....(am I ranting, oh nevermind)
If you are new we welcome you instead of flame you... that doesn't happen until the next time gabe gets his drink on (which should be in about 5
minutes)
This board to me has the feeling of community that the real hardcore scene has always had, and the new scene will never understand.

I like thorp out of the 2 boards I post on. The rest all suck. It's like real people are on here and not some highschool kid or some college guy
living with his parents.

actually, we have a fair number of younger people on this board. just not the kind of young people that feel the need to flame everyone and flex
their internet muscles everywhere they they go. ...and i appreciate it!
the age mix is nice. the younger posters are probably more involved in the day to day hardcore scene and offer an accurate account of what's going
on. i mean, come on, i go to five shows a year, either by myself or with moron. that's it. Of course all us old folk think the kids got nothing on
"in my day...". still everyone gets along and shares what they can.
similarly, half the people on the board are sXe, the other half are dRUNk. that alone is usually a deadly combination. but here, it seems to work.
I guess that no matter whether you're 15 or 38, black or white (or mexican), sxe or not, the people that post here all have one thing in common -
their love for aggressive music. Ok, and a touch of common courtesy. ..but just a touch!
