Death Before Dishonor
They have a new album coming out on May 22. There is a new song that you can hear on their myspace page. Have a listen sounds good and I can't wait to
get my hands on this record.

Bought one of their albums, listened to half of it, sold it.

Is Bro-deo really a wise choice for the name of a hardcore show?
Just sayin'.
Well, its this place where nobody works, and the pigs don\'t give you any shit. Everyone smokes weed and gets drunk all day. Its a place where
cunts like me and you can truly take it easy and relax. Know what I mean?

Deny it? Fuck, I'll proclaim it utter bullshit. Boston has a long tradition of putting out some of the best Punk and Hard Core in the world and this
band isn't fit to scrub shit stains outta any of those bands shorts.

Haha I back the statement above, I have never gotten into this band no matter how many times I listen to them.
As for the Bro-Deo, there is also shows in London, Hamilton & St. Catharines that MLIW & DBD are doing with other openers.
Toronto has the best openers simply because Fever Out & The Kill Decibel are playing. Check out those bands if you haven't already.
A lot of people ask me what kind of music I like. I love "soul music". My "soul music" isn’t a style, genre or niche. It’s music that is genuine. It’s
a painful lyric, a dirty bassline, it’s a harrowing vocal, it’s feedback, it’s an anthem, it’s a love song, it’s anarchy. I’ve got my personal
favourites but in the end it doesn’t matter who or where it comes from... so long as it’s good and it's real.

Yeah I really dig that Trust In Few album....and Death Before Dishonor mall metal? Jesus what an inane comment. Last time I checked DBD is far from
"metal". Sure they have some metallic undercurrents that seep into their music but they aren't metalcore, metal or anything close.

Friends Family Forever is good, but the full length gets REAL tired after a couple listens. I haven't bothered to listen to this band in ages and
probably won't be buying the new one. No appeal anymore.

Trust In Few are great.
Bro-Deo is a gay fucking name for a show and don't ask me why it's called that I have nothing to do with it.
Ubermike. I assume you haven't seen TKD since some years ago now. They've changed so much it's ridiculous. The last time I saw them which was about a
week ago I wasn't into it at ALL. They used to always get me going.
MLIW bore me. To The Lions are great but I do get tired of the vocalist for some reason.
Meh. To each his own.
Fever Out are pretty good but that style still doesn't get me going most of the time. I do like it though of course.

My thought's exactly. I would'nt even go as far to say that they have any metal parts. They just have a heavier punk - fast - flowing sound - heavier
than what most people here like.
But whatever. People can be ignorant and write anything heavy off as being "metal influenced" and therefore not pure hardcore enough for them or
whatever... fuck it. We all like our own shit. It's when people constantly throw their opinions into the mix instead of saying a band sucks or has no
talent, they could just say that they don't feel it. I know thats the case with me for alot of shit.
For example, Fucked Up bore the hell out of me. Yet, they have one of the best selling records @ Rotate This here... so obviously some people
appreciate them, and they are great I just don't feel it. I like the punk style and bands like it but .. jesus christ to me I just stand there and
watch them and I don't get into it at all.... I can like more than one thing here I think more people need to be more open to other forms of hardcore
and not just stick to the old style anymore, times are changing. Even years back when Madball said "its not 1982 anymore so you cant expect everything
to sound the same as it did back then" that still applies today.
While HC has been over run with bullshit. DB4DH are not one of those bullshit bands. Just look into the lyrics, its not like Bury Your Dead we're
talking about here.
Fuck...
Might I add that if you are into Trust In Few
look at the people in that band.
"The Live Lineup is.... Frankie (Death Before Dishonor), Rob (Since The Flood), Jamey (Death Threat), Ritchie Krutch (Wisdom In Chains, Out To Win,
Boxcutter), and the Peej (Random core kid) special appearance by Larry Aids as the Tarzan Cage Dancer"
They are all from other bands, bands that vary in style totally... from heavy to light. If they can appreciate this style why can't any of you
appreciate theres. Jesus...
"In a scene where recycled chug mosh parts and rehashed youthcrew sloppy fast parts run rampant, Trust In Few takes the aggression and reality of
hardcore and the spirit of punk and melds them into a fresh explosion of pissed off singalong madness- raw hardcore punk aggression captured in its
purest form, ready to be unleashed onto audiences from all walks of life across the globe."

Haha Fucked Up are hyped around the world, I don't get it and never have. Live or otherwise I've never been able to dig that band.
I dig The Kill Decibel's 7" but haven't heard any of the newer stuff yet. Still love em. Fever Out rule, I miss ATMOI though haha.
