anyone in Southern ONtario?

Just wondering because i'm going on tour and could use some help getting bodies out to the shows.

We're playing Ottawa, Montreal, Toronto, Kitchener, London, Niagara Falls, Burlington.

If anyone is in these areas and want a free CD please drop me a line. We need a hype man or women.

Peace.

Hey, Jonny I was in Fredricton all last week and I was checking out venues, they were talking about your show at The Capitol, so you made an impression.

Well, its this place where nobody works, and the pigs don\'t give you any shit. Everyone smokes weed and gets drunk all day. Its a place where cunts like me and you can truly take it easy and relax. Know what I mean?

Horeshoe is a cool venue. You might want to re-think Niagara Falls though and go St. Catharines or Welland instead for the Niagara gig. There hasn't been a good show in the Falls for years, Raised Fist barely drew a crowd there and would have done so much better in St Catharines. Welland, all the high school kids go out if locals play, its huge but I think they lost all their venues.

For Niagara area promoters, check out http://www.scenemusicfestival.com/board/list.php?1 and see who still does shows. Luke Bauer does basement shows apparently, Pat Murphy will get a venue and probably bad supporting acts, Ohlhoff might be doing shows still but I don't know.

A lot of people ask me what kind of music I like. I love "soul music". My "soul music" isn’t a style, genre or niche. It’s music that is genuine. It’s a painful lyric, a dirty bassline, it’s a harrowing vocal, it’s feedback, it’s an anthem, it’s a love song, it’s anarchy. I’ve got my personal favourites but in the end it doesn’t matter who or where it comes from... so long as it’s good and it's real.

Dude I leave in 4 days...it's far too late to be switching venues although I do know that it is going to suck.

haha yeah it'd be a bit late. Since its your solo gig I think it'd probably do better in the Falls anyways :D

Thanks Mr. BD. I've been getting some interesting reviews lately but overall it's been very positive. The band has definitly been punking up the live show so it's fucking rocking balls.

Well funny you should ask. We've got a live DVD recording on this tour. I'm going to bring my camera along and make a short film on touring as a broke ass indie band.

The live DVD will also have professional sound recording.
