I saw Social D Saturday Night- They Were Awesome

I was floored by how good of a show they put on. WOW. They had the Black Halos. Um, thier singer is just trying too hard. His bandmates seem to just not dig his schtick. Oh, and these guys are really concerned about their haircuts. Second band was I Hate Kate. These guys put on a great show and seem like really cool guys. They did a great cover of an early 80's song, Major Tom (I think). They would have been huge in 83/84.

SD, what can I say? Just awesome. They played songs from every album it seemed. Oh, and they played their new song coming out on their greatest hits. IT IS FUCKING GREAT. So good.

Mike Ness has all the poses and faces down for rock n' roll. He is so over with the crowd that he even insulted St. Louis. At his first break he said, "Put some lights on this crowd. Where the hell are we? St. Louis? What? Yeah, I've driven through St. Louis before. I usually just wave and keep driving. he he he. Well, we're all hear tonight."

Amazing show and they sounded great.

Social D are definitely one of my favorites to see live, they always have the right energy and the sound is always amazing. I love this band, they bring me back better than any other.
