it just came out in theaters in england at the end of april but i was somehow able to download the whole movie from limewire

its real good

I like when, at about 11 minutes in, the kid walks by The Church of Christ and "Maggie is a twat" is spraypainted on the wall.

everybody needs to see this film. i live close to where the film was located and some of the actors are from the same town as me. the accents are exact too (we all dont talk like a cockney). i love the fact that you guys like this film.

i thought the acting was really well done

why am I not surprised that Gavin Watson has something to do with this. I bet the inspiration for the characture and crew came from his book Skins. Take a look at the official website and you'll see his book listed off to the side.

from what i read it is loosly based on shane meadows(the director)s childhood.
he being the young kid character

watched it a few weeks back. good stuff for sure. nice to see a story about politics dividing skinheads instead of uniting them, as i've seen that more often over the years. great soundtrack as well, from percy sledge to the maytals, well done.

Am I the only one that got kinda bored while watching the movie? Hmmm.... maybe my attention span just sucks at this point, but I found it pretty slow going. I think I turned it off around the time they beat up the kid in the crew for not being white.

The whole film was up on dailymotion.com. Try searching for "tie" (i.e. This Is England, or TIE). That was one of the tags when I watched it.
