Staying on track

I played hockey tonight. It has been 2 weeks since we won our city championship. We are gearing up for Toronto. I am JONESING for a beer. It is 1:16 am. I am trying to lose weight and get in some serious shape for the big tourney on June 1st. I would love to stay up for about three hours, sit on the board and get drunk.

I rarely get any time by myslef and I love to come home from hockey, sit downstairs and get drunk.

None of that helps me. I have breakfast at my daughter's school at 8:30. I'm totally wired right now. I need to go to sleep but I feel the need to drink. Makes me wonder if I should just hang it up for good.

You know what? That is it. I'm going to "man up" not drink and go lay in bed and sweat. It if for the better. Thank Thorp board for a place to vent about this stuff. I really struggle with drinking. Almost every day. I can always find an excuse to drink. To me, that is weak and a crutch and I straight up fucking hate it because I judge people constanly for being weak.

I'm totally rambling. I'm out. Thanks Thorp Boarders and Honus. Honus, I'm going dry tonight Bud. Thanks for the motivation.

just think about the kid.
that's all it takes.
you know she's more important than anything else.

If I fail math, there goes my chance at a good job and a happy life full of hard work.
