i have the trainyard disc but never understood what made them so popular. i hate the way the vocals sound on it. too much echo effect or something.

I like Ezec's vocals on Train Yard, but not on Vexed. Both are solid records, though.

One thing in a band's name that pretty much guarantees my immediate dislike of them is using the letter z to pluralize a word. That fairly reeks of that ICP mentality to me.

Wait... What?

I thought Train Yard Blues wasnt that great. Especially the vocals on it. Its an ok album. But Mentally Vexed is just a collosal NYHC album to me. I think you need to listen to it again ;)
