Telnet to towel.blinkenlights.nl, do not browse. Telnet!
In windows:
Go to Run in the Start menu, type 'cmd' and click ok.
Type 'telnet' then Enter, then 'open towel.blinkenlights.nl' and enter.
Sit back and enjoy.
If you got a mac, use Terminal and use the same telnet command.

Maybe your modem/router is blocking Telnet default port 23? Should work on the standard port.
