I really do not like movies like this and they are seriously fucked up but? I don't know. The ending of the trailer says it willbe the "MOST SHOCKING"
ending ever. I have no idea how it can be more shocking than what happened in the first one.

I hate when they say outlandish shit like that but I liked the first one and if it comes even close to it, it'll be worth it.

eli roth was on stern today and although i missed most of the interview, he did say that the ending stands on its own as one of the best ever. he is
semi respected in this genre so i'd be curious to see how they take this franchise up a notch

^^^^^^^^^ dude that is what I mean. He is fucked up to come up with the shit he has so far so it must be pretty crazy if he stands by it as shocking.
Shocking to him must be really, really fucked up.

Not that I will download it because I want to see the finished product, but Hostel 2 was actually leaked already. It is a workprint though so some of
the effects aren't finished yet in the version. But if any of you are really dying to see it now you can find it pretty easily.

I love gratuitous violence and nudity. It's soothing.

Speaking of workprints... I'd love to see the workprint of Star Wars. I read an article written by the guy that wrote the comic adaptation in the 70s
and he saw that workprint. Sounded amazing. Most of the effects shots weren't there and the scenes with spaceship dogfights were all WW2 footage.

Saw it and it was a huge disappointment. The ending left me sitting there thinking "that was it". Not even as much titties as the first one either.

Were you just disappointed with the ending, or was it the whole movie?

To me the beginning was completely pointless. There was not nearly as many boobies as in the first one either might I add. And as I mentioned, the
ending was a HUGE disappointment. In the whole movie, I wouldn't say any single scene would be in the top 15 of any gore/shock/kills list. Most of
the shit that would've been awesome to see ended up not getting shown (if you see/saw the movie you'll know what I mean). As a whole the movie is
average and decent for what it is but the shit about the ending being shocking is bullshit promotion. And I thought the first one was much better.
(The achilles scene was better than any scene in this movie)
I mean there were some nice moments here and there. But the storyline was just eh.

all i think of is when that shannon elizabeth movie came out about the house with the glass walls and they were promoting saying it was too much for
even the previews and it was the worst pile of crap ever. they needed a way to draw viewers and it didn't work. the movie made less than 10 mill
opening weekend.

just got back from seeing a bit ago.
the ending left me half laughing, half shouting "No!", throwing my hand over my mouth and cringing. i wish i could have seen myself. seriously, you
must watch some fucked up shit to not be fazed by that ending.
great movie, great sequel. 94 minutes whizzed by like it was 45. a lot more insight into Elite Hunting this time. to me, some of the non gore
imagery and dialogue was more intense than actual gore etc.
the lack of non-nerdy boobies is undeniable though, but i had a good time watching it.

Yeah, I like some of the more under the radar gore/horror movies but this just didn't live up to the hype. Average movie, good for what it is but
that ending was not nearly as good as it could've been. And seriously what was the point of the opening? It was wasted time.

here's my theory.
first, they wanted to link the 2 movies together and establish the far reaching power of Elite Hunting.
next, the overall gore was toned down in editing so they could get away with the bath scene and the end. nothing shocking to an underground horror
fan, but remember, it got an R rating from the MPAA. those 2 scenes were a bit advance for R rated flicks.
the opening was a bit "whatever", but it looked to me like it had been chopped down. i watch a lot of deleted scene stuff etc., and that opening
looked like it was missing a minute or two.
i'm hoping the unrated version will have lots extra.

They did that and it disappeared, then it goes back into it for what like 2mins leaving you thinking..."oh, so that's how they want to conclude
that...meh".
Like I said, for a theatre movie with an R, it wasn't bad, good for what it is. But I thought the first one was a better watch overall and this one
suffered from the bullshit promotion. I mean you got to admit that "ending" was corny as hell.
