This shit sucks
I just got out of bed & came to do my usual morning forums check. First one I always go to is The Kill Decibel board.
It says 404 Not Found, so I go to their home page.
A large image comes up and reads "THE KILL DECIBEL IS DEAD 2001 - 2007"
It really sucks when the first thing you find out in the morning is that one of your favourite bands has decided to call it quits. Its even more shit
when you moved away & hadn't seen them for years.
BLAH!
A lot of people ask me what kind of music I like. I love "soul music". My "soul music" isn’t a style, genre or niche. It’s music that is genuine. It’s
a painful lyric, a dirty bassline, it’s a harrowing vocal, it’s feedback, it’s an anthem, it’s a love song, it’s anarchy. I’ve got my personal
favourites but in the end it doesn’t matter who or where it comes from... so long as it’s good and it's real.

Meh.
I could care less. While that "board" was a random stop for me on the regular. I never liked anyone from it really at all. I hate Toronto. And TKD's
shows suck now - no one ever dances for them or gets into it. So, can't say I didn't see it coming.
I think when you left Mike thats when it just started dieing out but was still decent. That is, the crowd response.
Last time I saw them they said "Remember when hardcore shows used to be good" and then played some song. It was kinda wack.

Toronto's hardcore scene is WEAK.
It's just not standing up on its own anymore.

Haha nobody gets into it because if it ain't on Youngblood or a Bridge 9 "most talked about" band, they don't give a shit. Plus nobody likes the
thrash they added when they moved away from the mosh.
Toronto scene is what Adelaide is like, all the good bands are gone & the remaining ones are so boring.
