Skarhead
It's strange. When Skarhead came out I fucking loved them, went to the shows, bought the merch, etc. Kings At Crime came out next and I played the
shit out of that cd, loved it like mad.
Fast forward to the present. I haven't listened to K.A.C. in quite some time, so I threw it on today. Thought it was pretty fucking weak. I skipped
past a few tracks that were just unlistenable.
It's weird how tastes can change.

I've always loved them.
But only a few songs, not all of the songs.

I still listen to this record a lot. I get up to track 9 or 10 before I skip 1-2 songs and listen to the rest.
A lot of people ask me what kind of music I like. I love "soul music". My "soul music" isn’t a style, genre or niche. It’s music that is genuine. It’s
a painful lyric, a dirty bassline, it’s a harrowing vocal, it’s feedback, it’s an anthem, it’s a love song, it’s anarchy. I’ve got my personal
favourites but in the end it doesn’t matter who or where it comes from... so long as it’s good and it's real.

Can't listen to a song from this band without bursting into laughter and making whoever played it turn it off (under threat of physical harm if need
be).

Good stuff.
Each aspect of the soul has it's own part to play, but the ideal is harmonious agreement with reason and control.

I like Skarhead for the most part. Some songs I wasnt real into but I overall it was good. I'd much rather see Crown Of Thornz and District 9.

After the EP, I like the 7" versions of the songs they ended up re-recording MUCH better than the KAC versions. Its a fun album, good background
music...nothing really revolutionary.
