The name sounds vaguely familiar, but I'm not sure where from. What kinda stuff does he write? I'm always lookin' for new authors to check out. I just recently got hooked on Joe R. Lansdale and Nick Tosches, two VERY different, but amazingly good writers.

George Pelecanos is one of my favourite writers. I just read the King Suckerman, which I think was the best book I've read this year.

If you like Edward Bunker, you got to check out G. Pelecanos!
