live earth

anyone watch this...

I saw a few acts...

afi are bigger fruits now then i remember when we played with them a million years ago

madonna is still fucking amazing...

looking forward to the police

other then that everything else I saw seemed pretty meh....

as for the politics behind the thing, they wasted more energy on this show then they saved....

long after we as a species and gone the earth and some forms of life will still be here,

it's not save the planet it's save our rotten asses, and to that I say fuck em...

we are nothing but parasites that the earth needs to shake off anyhow.... so drink up and let the shakin begin

I watched pretty much all day in between PS2 time. A few random thoughts:

Police were good til Kanye West came up and ruined it.

Davey Havok is big time fruity.

Cameron Diaz is starting to look good again.

Kelly Clarkson has a big ass.

Seeing Madonna play guitar is kinda weird, but kinda cool. Nice change of pace.

Who the hell was playing second guitar with the Chili Peppers?

Linkin Park still sucks.

Didn't most of these people do the Concert For Diana last week?

Roger Waters was terrible. It was like PINK FLOYD kareokie. The PINK FLOYD remaining members are much better as a band.

Madonna wasn't bad until the end. It was like she ran out of things to do so she rambled about and tried to ge the crowd into it. She is starting to look more like a Grandma now a days. A hot one of course.

Sting should stop trying to look cool. We know who you are now so stop playing an act. Be yourself and the POLICE will be much better.

Didn't even know this was happening. Wouldn't have watched it if I had known.

Flipping the channels yesterday and saw AFI, holy shit. I have to agree with everything said about them so far here & just multiply by a lot.

A lot of people ask me what kind of music I like. I love "soul music". My "soul music" isn’t a style, genre or niche. It’s music that is genuine. It’s a painful lyric, a dirty bassline, it’s a harrowing vocal, it’s feedback, it’s an anthem, it’s a love song, it’s anarchy. I’ve got my personal favourites but in the end it doesn’t matter who or where it comes from... so long as it’s good and it's real.

"Kelly Clarkson has a big ass" And she'd catch it real good

And didn't Metallica play as well? Just songs off the Black album
