so what is it about vogel that people don't like? there seems to be a lot of eye rolling whenever his name is mentioned, but i honestly don't know the deal.

I get this alot too ... I haven't taken much notice of a terror release since LOTL but I still go to their shows because he's such a charismatic and entertaining front man.

I have seen Scott's bands several times and have met him briefly. Always very good.

^^^^^^^ What I have heard is he is corny. If he is impressed with you he becomes a leach. Nice guy, but shady. I do not know him personally. So this is not my opinion.

I don't have an opinion about him.

I love Terror.

This site is actually old I'm surprised no one here knew about it already!

Dude sure likes stage dives.

I think it's kind of corny that someone his age is so enthusiastic about hardcore... like it's going to change the fucking world or something. Newsflash Scotty, it's not.

that's an interesting thought, dave.

but how then do you compare vogel to the guys from sioa or af or any of the other active hardcore bands with members in their 40s or *gulp* 50s? do you consider those dudes corny, too?

Stop talking, theres no talking at terror shows, only silence. silence and stagedives

I remember a good one from their first aussie tour in 2003 ...

"I want to see all out war during this song ... not the band ... just people dying"

Yeah, I don't know. It's me being cynical I guess dude. I WISH hardcore could change the world... I wish ideas from hardcore and punk rock were having a greater impact. Just don't see it happening.

Anymore it just looks like this music is a great form of catharsis, outside that... don't know anymore.
