I remember that feeling when I went back to school a couple of years ago. Nervous, but at the same time intrigued. Good luck and have fun with it.

thanks for the encouragement. i'm really looking forward to it overall. after working mind numbing jobs for a lot of years, my brain is kinda stuck in first gear at the moment. gonna be crazy to have to study again (hmm.....didn't do a whole lot of that the first time around either). i've worked really hard to make this happen so i have no intention of fucking it up.

Your biggest problem will be putting up with the sheer stupidity of the youngsters.

those of you that are currently in school or are about to start... what are you doing? graduate, undergrad, GED ;)? what made you go back and what are you doing?

i've long considered going back for a masters degree, but the cost is prohibitive. i'm looking for inspiration.

d, i'm going to community college for electrical. i went back because i'm tired of working a shit job for little money basically. i've been doing that for entirely too long and i need a change. just got back from first day orientation. feelings from the first day: #1 feeling old for sure #2 based on looking around, getting weed won't be a problem #3 major sausage fest, actually 2 good looking girls in my class though so it's not all bad.

I got out of the military at 25, with a grade 10 edjumecation. I couldn't even spell soopervizer and now I is one. Stay in school.

But seriously, a very big shift in reality for me at the time, but it's like money in the bank, man.

I'm curious, how long did you served? I just "served my time", one year and though it was the most funniest and craziest year in my life, it feels like I've lost one year out of my life.
