Anybody ever try one of these?

http://www.interpunk.com/item.cfm?Item=148677&

or know somebody who has? Wondering if this thing is any good, cuz it would be cheaper than buying one of those new turntables.

Don't waste your money. Here's a walk through for doing it without that thing.

No problem. The guy who went to the trouble of putting that walk through together and hosting it on his website is the guy I handed off the Aging Punks group on SG to when I originally quit that site. He has a label that has put out some crazy Hard Core records from all over the world.

Read that walkthrough, pretty interesting...can't imagine going through all that to get an album on MP3...when I wan't to put one of my albums on the computer or iTunes I do it the high tech 3-step way.

1. Run soulseek
2. Search title
3. Download

No cables, no track seperating, no pop elimination.
