Inhuman- Last Rites review
Got this in the mail today and this shit kills. I'm not huge on the first track as it was a bit too metal for my tastes. I prefer to keep my metal
and hardcore separate. Other than that, the whole thing is straight up amazing. In particular the tracks "The Dream is Not Dead" and "A Fine Line"
are two back-to-back ragers that I think would be insane when played live. I could see a crowd going off to the whole disc, but those two songs could
kick up a wild circle pit. The last track had a bit of an Integrity feel to it early on.
Artwork and layout are cool, and have a different look for a hardcore album. A pleasant change from some of the more generic covers in the genre. An
added bonus was Mike throwing in a couple of printed pages of the meanings behind the songs which was an interesting read. I love shit like that.
Overall, I'd give it a 4 out of five, and recommend highly.

It'll take a bit longer to hit my mailbox but I can't wait
A lot of people ask me what kind of music I like. I love "soul music". My "soul music" isn’t a style, genre or niche. It’s music that is genuine. It’s
a painful lyric, a dirty bassline, it’s a harrowing vocal, it’s feedback, it’s an anthem, it’s a love song, it’s anarchy. I’ve got my personal
favourites but in the end it doesn’t matter who or where it comes from... so long as it’s good and it's real.

Wow it got here today haha. The notes are definately an added bonus.
I noticed AGAINST got a mention in the band thanks which is cool. Is the band getting noticed by anyone in North America? Their latest Loyalty &
Betrayal is damn good & features Nick Jett & Vogel from Terror, Stigma & Miret from Agnostic Front.

HEY GUYS!
Thanks so much for the feedback!
Yes, that's the same 'Against'.
My guitarist Joe met them while on tour with AG. FRONT.
The lyrical explanations are going in all mail orders...I didnt get to put them in the actual cd artwork, so it's better than nothing.
"The Dream is Not Dead" is one of my faves as well.

Dude, you need to post a video of you guys playing "Dream..." live. I really want to see that but I doubt you'll be playing Toronto any time soon.

I like Inhuman. I should order this. I really liked the song that was linked in another thread. I don't remember the name, but I voted for it on
that site it was linked from.

That song is called "What You Wanted".
It's the first song you hear on myspace.com/inhuman
Hit me up if you want to order.
Cheers
M.
Inhuman's touring plans are rough and I apologize. With half the band in AGNOSTIC FRONT, we work around that sched.
BUT, we are going to tour in 2008 for sure.

I was just going to post this. If Andrew posts a review like that you know its good, especially considering he doesn't do updates nearly as much as
he used to.
