What is your biggest music dissapointment 2007?

RINGWORM- the venomus grand design

I flat out do not like it at all. tacks 5,6,8 at the only songs I can bear to listen to.

Sucks, because Justice was so awsome and I have always liked them and was really looking forward to this release.

The new Ringworm is more of a metalheads Ringworm album, while all their stuff was metal core this is more of a long hair and denim type of metal core. It's not their best stuff but it's way more cohesive of an 'album' than Justice IMO...that felt too patched together to me.

I'd say my two biggest disappointments are the new Madball and Municipal Wastes.

Biggest suprise is Death Before Dishonor and Everyday Dollars

and biggest expectations fulfilled as figured the new Stout.

I liked the new municipal waste record...
they have a formula and they follow it pretty well....
no big let downs here but I haven't gotten that much new music in the '07...

but I guess my biggest disappointment this year was rushing a 6 hour drive to NYC to make it to a pouges show and getting to the venue and it being canceled...

but I might be able to catch them on the west coast side later this year....

i'm kind of drawing a blank, but the only 2007 CDs i was excited about was Municpal Waste, NIN and Comeback Kid.

Comeback Kid was the only one i couldn't get into.

I don't dislike the new Municipal Waste, but it just sounds like a rushed attepmt to follow up Hazardous Mutation with more songs that sound exactly like Hazardous Mutation just not as epic. I just expected more from them.

Other dissapointment runnner ups

Death Before Dishonor- Sounded too much like a local band with a good recording. Weak lyrics, but a good drummer.

Bad Brains- It pains me to say it but the record did not light a fire like I against I, Quickness or Rock for Light. I ahve never heard the 90's stuff though. Maybe those sucked but I have no idea. All in all the new BB is good but not as big as the hype was.

Biggest musical disappointment of 2007?

Same as it has been for the past few years, Hard Core as a whole.

My biggest musical dissappointment this year was not getting to play P.E.I., but the year's not over. Actually, over the last 3 months we booked two shows and they both got cancelled. :(

Well, its this place where nobody works, and the pigs don\'t give you any shit. Everyone smokes weed and gets drunk all day. Its a place where cunts like me and you can truly take it easy and relax. Know what I mean?
