i'm in.
i was reading up on the thread from last year.
my only question is, should the CD have some consistency or should it be just whatever we think is cool and maybe others haven't heard?
also, if there's any interest, i'd like to include a bonus CD on mine of all "Dub" Reggae. i've been listening to a lot lately and can definitely
bring the fire on that genre.

How about an online version and we can upload a ZIP/RAR of our choice somewhere?
A lot of people ask me what kind of music I like. I love "soul music". My "soul music" isn’t a style, genre or niche. It’s music that is genuine. It’s
a painful lyric, a dirty bassline, it’s a harrowing vocal, it’s feedback, it’s an anthem, it’s a love song, it’s anarchy. I’ve got my personal
favourites but in the end it doesn’t matter who or where it comes from... so long as it’s good and it's real.

last year the cd's were all over the place, you can pretty much put whatever you want on it, although last year there were a few that had a theme to
them.
last year we had:
hardcore
punk
Oi!
country
rockabilly
ska
reggae
and everything else in between.
so no limits.
i'd be up for uploading it again this year, but getting shit in the mail is wicked.

Did people print off good liner notes or just black & white? I'd probably do a double CD, 1 half Australian 1 half Canadian haha

format = whatever you want.
cover art = whatever you want.
I got a new address so I'll forward it to BD. Already got the cd's I just need to compile some tunes. Lets set a tentative final mail out date as of
December 10th. that way we get the cd's before the holidays and we can jam them out while we go sledding, shop, drink, go for smoke breaks, or have
sex.
Each aspect of the soul has it's own part to play, but the ideal is harmonious agreement with reason and control.

I'm in. I'm gonna' put a little more effort into my liner notes this year. I'm for mailing them out. Getting all those CD's in the mail kicked ass
last year.
Well, its this place where nobody works, and the pigs don\'t give you any shit. Everyone smokes weed and gets drunk all day. Its a place where
cunts like me and you can truly take it easy and relax. Know what I mean?

if I find some time in my mad life I certainly will try to put something together. maybe a coversongs cd by HC and Oi bands, or some rarities put
together. I certainly prefer to upload it to sharefiling sites so people can decide if thay wanna dl it or not.

my printer is dead so my liner notes will probably be non-existent or be simple or if you use itunes, be featured there.

I really enjoyed doing this last year, but my cd burner is acting stupid,my printer is half fucked, and I'm getting ready to move....so I may sit this
one out.
But I still have plenty of time,so if I get my shit together, maybe I'll be able to jump in a little later.

How about those that can actually burn/post theirs but also upload them somewhere, and those who can't can contribute uploads too
It sounds cheap but I can't afford to send a CD from Australia with a wife, 2 kids, rent & 1 small income but I wanna take part this year & spread
some shit.

I'll have to read up on this, but it sounds like something I would like to be a part of. I'll check out the other post and then PM whomever I need to.
Would it be allowable for a new guy like me to become a part of this "tradition"? Let me know. Thanks.

I'm in for sure. Copeyboy, you should feel very free to do this. It's cool.
I'm all for the Download versions of it. It helps our international friends and saves dough.
