Anyone up for helping me on a research paper?
I've been doing alot of reading lately in psychology and philosophy and find both subjects really interesting. I also have been doing alot of writing,
mostly for pleasure and just as some form of emotional release. I've decided to combine the two and assign myself a topic to research. I am doing this
purely for pleasure and personal growth.
I decided to focus on emotional disorders, mainly emotional pain and why we as humans hold onto certain emotional pains in life even though they are
extremely discomforting. One of the things I'm covering in my paper is how we as humans deal with these issues,such as with therapy, self-help and
drug use. What I need from you guys/gals is to share some of your life experiences with drug use and why you chose to use them. Was it for emotional
escape? just for fun? peer pressure? Did your drug use give you the sense of release from emotional pain? How would you describe your feeling while on
the drug(s)? Also if you have dealt with an emotional disorder such as anxiety, depression, phobia's and such, how do you cope with your disorder?
what are some techniques you use in combatant of them?

I smoked alot of space cabbage when I was about 15/16 ... It wasn't to escape life or numb any sort of pain cuz I had things good. I'm a middle-class
kid from the suburbs, monday to friday was school, saturday and sunday was skateboarding and shows. But I think sometimes I just wanted to get fucked
up for something different. Maybe a laugh or two, but mainly just for something out of the ordanairy.

I did a lot of drugs when I was younger. Started out for fun, later became an escape and a coping mechanism.
