YO!!! Anyone from Texas that can go needs to go. I'll be going, maybe by air, but hopefully I can get someone to drive. My wife will be in Reno with our daughter Katherine, so if anyone from Texas wants to go hit me up and I will hook it up with gas money. word, GABE

I just can\'t seem to STAND STILL

it's possible. I actually think I might be out of state that day. I'll have to check with the Mrs., but I think I remember seeing something written on our calendar for that day.

Anyone withint 1500 miles of this who doesn't go is fucking scum. Go listen to Silverstein and 18 Visions.
I wish I was still in St. Catharines, just for 1 week. :/ Atleast this weekend's fest in Adelaide was fucking amazing, I got that to tide me over for a while.

A lot of people ask me what kind of music I like. I love "soul music". My "soul music" isn’t a style, genre or niche. It’s music that is genuine. It’s a painful lyric, a dirty bassline, it’s a harrowing vocal, it’s feedback, it’s an anthem, it’s a love song, it’s anarchy. I’ve got my personal favourites but in the end it doesn’t matter who or where it comes from... so long as it’s good and it's real.

just ordered up my tickets

OK, so Easter weekend I'm going to more shows than I have all year.

Saturday evening I'm going to see our boys The Ducky Boys open for Dropkick Murphys in Manhattan at Irving Plaza.

As soon as they're done, I'm cruising back to Brooklyn for the conclusion of the Superbowl. (If they allowed ins & outs, I'd be at the Superbowl during the day, pop out for The Ducky Boys, then return, but that doesn't look possible.)

Then Sunday, it's back to Irving Plaza to see Brain Failure open for DKM, and I'll actually get to stay for the whole show this time.

Looks like I'll be meeting up with a lot of Thorp band members for the first time, too, so that'll be cool. I love it when a plan comes together.

will buying a hoodie from the band support you directly? haven't you already been paid by the time those hoodies reach the merch table? i guess the more they sell, the more they'll need printed, huh!?

so there have been a ton of rumors about other bands that might be making surprise appearances at this show, and from everything i've heard, so far the strongest possibility seems to be...

Straight Ahead

holy blast from the past. that would be wild.
