this band Stout?

I have seen alot of buzz on here about them, any good? what are they like? I think I saw they were from Baltimore, more of an OI thing or more of a hardcore thing?
Opinions?

oh, and for the people who dig Mad Sin, they have a somewhat new album coming out at the end of this month, it will be double disc with 7 or 8 new songs, some rare b-sides and a live show from Cali I think. Should be good. I forget what it is called but it's on Amazon for pre order.

Stout sounds like like extremely well written tough guy hardcore musically and the singer sounds like the evil dude from the movie legend and sings about crazy shit like castrating boneheads and biocausts. Lyrics are really well written poetic type stuff that mostly doesn't make sense.

In a nutshell if you like toughguy hardcore but can't relate to people singing about being gangstas, worth checking out.

One of my top 10 current bands and I don't think a single other one would be a "tough guy" style band.

It's more at the chugga end but not hatebreed monotonous chugga, more like Bulldoze with some faster parts.

Personally, I think Stout suck. To each their own.

Stout is brutal as fuck, point blank. It seems you either love these guys or hate them, not much inbetween. So fucking heavy and TAD as one of the most vicious vocal styles I've ever heard.

Stout are fucking Gods. Amazing band, true brutal style hardcore. They are up there with the likes of Cold As Life as far as their depiction of life and violence.

From the mag Terrorizer:

"Definitely one of the heaviest hardcore bands around right now, Baltimore’s Stout grind out brutal hatecore in the style of Neglect, Darkside NYC, and Bulldoze, although fans of the UK’s own Knuckledust or even the sorely-missed Sheer Terror should find much to get punchy about here as well. Put simply, this is some downright nasty uncompromising shit, with little thought given to melody or finesse; Stout are more concerned with steamrolling the listener into total submission with violent riff after riff. Boasting beatdowns you could roll a tank with, a vocal delivery phoned in from the depths of hell, incredibly vicious lyrics way the wrong side of psychopathic (“I’m the noxious gas that will kill your kids/lay them on their backs, turn their souls to black…”) and an intensity of delivery rarely seen this side of Integrity, Stout are sure to induce ugly scenes whenever they set foot on a stage, and there’s no doubt these chaos-mongers would have it no other way. 7.5"

Sleep Bitch is so good but not long enough, I got the end and and said where the fuck is the rest of it ahha. So good.

A lot of people ask me what kind of music I like. I love "soul music". My "soul music" isn’t a style, genre or niche. It’s music that is genuine. It’s a painful lyric, a dirty bassline, it’s a harrowing vocal, it’s feedback, it’s an anthem, it’s a love song, it’s anarchy. I’ve got my personal favourites but in the end it doesn’t matter who or where it comes from... so long as it’s good and it's real.

I haven't really listened to stout, so i don't have an opinion.

For about a second i was super stoked on this post sbove cause i thought it was about TAD. (as in TAD, the band).

If I fail math, there goes my chance at a good job and a happy life full of hard work.

Stout is one hell of a band in my eyes. I have yet to hear Sleep Bitch outside of a song on their myspace. It sounds like something you would listen to while preparing to bury a battle axe in someone's head.

The last CD NGMF is some damn fun shit. Anyone who can name drop the Cenobites from Hellraiser and sound like TAD does wins in my book.

Awesome. I also saw Terror Zone: Self Realization: A True Lesson in Hardcore in your list. I own one Terrorzone 7" 'Lord of wrath' which has track with the same name as the 7" you had listed on the B side. Here is the cover of the one I have.

If the one you have is different I would like to get that as well.
Tell me how much (to New Zealand) and I'll Paypal the cash to ngsrecords@comcast.net within 24 hours of you replying.
Thanks
