Sprint PCS and I just broke up


...after exactly 10 years.

no complaints about the service, but they just don't have any phones i'm interested in. my contract ran out months ago and my phone was literally in pieces, but i wasn't signing another two year contract with them and i didn't want to pay full price for a new phone.

i'll get an iphone once the next generation is announced. in the mean time, this little number only ran me $50:

I'm with Sprint. I'm thinking of getting one of those Treo things tonight and extending my service to get the deal.

Their customer service reps are dickheads though. It's like calling them and having Gene Simmons answer the phone every time.

From everything I've heard, their customer service is horrible.

Mark, I am in the same boat. I have had several friends get a Treo model and none of them liked it. I would really like to steer you towards a Blackberry model. When I make the leap that is where I'm headed. My work is starting to depend on it.

Also, never call in. Is there a Sprint store near you? This way you can put the screws to them in person. They will negotiate.

My interactions with Sprint are always simple. Like "what if I want to change my phone number?" for example. But they're just rude when they answer you.

I have 2 co-workers that love the Treo. What did your friends dislike about it?

I had sprint till I moved to PA
and then had to change as they didn't have coverage...
ben with verizon for a while
it's okay but I hate them all

I am thinking of getting a sidekick or some form of blackberry so I can get out of the office more
