I played bass for Sheer Terror for a night. Unfortunately I woke up and realized I had been dreaming and remembered that I have no musical talent
whatsoever.

Funny you mention this, cuz I've been rolling around an idea.....getting my buddy to lay down (or preferably a fellow Thorpsters ) some
drum tracks, sending out the drum tracks to whoever's interested, they can then lay down a track, be it bass, guitar, vocals, or slide trombone, send
the tracks back to me, and I will then compile them. I would of course make said individual tracks available to anyone else who wanted to tinker. We
could then compile all the best tracks, and voila...The Thorpsters. Anyone can download Audacity, its freeware, its good. Something I've been rolling
around since someone made mention of a Thorpboard band. It would be a fairly large group effort and would probably take the good part of a year from
the time the drum tracks went out I figure.
Well, its this place where nobody works, and the pigs don\'t give you any shit. Everyone smokes weed and gets drunk all day. Its a place where
cunts like me and you can truly take it easy and relax. Know what I mean?

I was going to do a project like this with a few friends that didn't live near me
but they were too lazy to record their parts
my project is you book a hall for a night and put up fliers free show bring you instruments and what not and everyone and anyone could show up and
play
kind of like ahippe drum circle but not 1 not hippe crap
and not so limited
you want to bring a cello bring it, you want to bring a chainsaw and a tv bring it and have fun
music at it's most broken and fragmented
but all people being involved in making it
out here in LA something like this could be cool...
jsut different people from different scenes and walks of life having at it...

if they were there when I was I might have known them if they played music
while I hated living there that region had a very close knot music scene, as there was nothing else to do but play or go see bands....
we'd throw huge park shows from like noon till pass out and anyone who wanted to play could
good times back then

They are not "down" so to speak. They were baseball fruits. They went to KU with my wife. I also used to go to camp in Purdy, MO.

My past.....
Direct Approach (1988) - our claim to fame was an appearence on the awesome NEW BREED cassette compilation! I played bass and I was 15 yrs old. We
literally had 3 or 4 songs and never played one show.
Close Call (1988-1990) - bassist, way before the Queens and the Boston Close Call. We sounded like Token Entry meets Leeway meets Breakdown. With John
from Candiria on guitar.
Confusion ( 1990-1994) - bassist, Death Metal meets NYHC.
Undertaker ( 1991) - worth mentioning due to the lineup of this Death Metal/Grindcore band - me on bass, John from The Krays on drums, SOB of Merauder
on guitar and Rich from Darkside NYC/Everyday Dollars on vocals. We had like 3 songs. Some riffs appear on "Master Killer" haha!
Inhuman (1995 - ) - still screaming.

The New Breed - 1997-2005 (nuff said)
The Cuban Assassins - 1997-1998 (never played a show, like 4 songs early 80's sloppy hardcore)(it was TNB line-up at the time, with a different
singer)
The Cretins - 2001 (played one show, did Ramones covers for a tribute show for when joey died) (it was basically TNB, but without Brian, and had
Lionel playing bass instead, this was before he had joined the band though)

I was in a punk/hardcore band called Last One Laughing, we only recorded 4 songs and never played a show.
I was in numerous thrash/metal bands between LOL and my current metal(core) band, Prosper Or Perish.

Old - The Plundering Sons
New - Frigg Off
Had a band back when I was 14/15 called Snyde Remarks, we sucked, but I always liked the name.
On a side note, any of my East Coast brethren, I'm thinking of putting together a traditional Irish act, all acoustic. Lionel I know you're dyin' to
bust out that mandolin.
Well, its this place where nobody works, and the pigs don\'t give you any shit. Everyone smokes weed and gets drunk all day. Its a place where
