one thing I noticed about my laptop
It has a brighter and more clear screen whne it is plugged in. When its not and when I am on line it has a shitload of glare. Is that the case with
anyone else or is this a defect?

You can adjust the screen settings to be the same brightness as when its plugged in when its unplugged. Check the control panel.

your computer automatically adjusts down the brightness when you're unplugged to conserve battery life.

thanks for both responses. I figured it was a power issue but to be honest I'd like to do what morgan said and find the adjustment to make it just as
good as when I am plugged in.
