Original JUDGE "Chung King" on ebay
Does the record collector in you have the desire or ability to spend over $1,000 on a record? This copy of Chung King is at $1,355,
and there is still a day to go.
Have you heard this recording? Which do you prefer, Chung King or the official Bringin' It Down release?

Where do these kids get this money?
...And whats the story behind this whole Chung King ordeal?
I have 'bringing it down' and the 'no apologies' chung king sessions. Shit, maybe I should try and sell my 'no apologies disc', I could use the cash.

I was desperate for cash a couple of years ago and had to sell a couple of choice records I really didn't want to part with. I sold a Misfits 7 inch
on ebay for like $850. I didn't want to part with it but all that money helped me get over it.

sheeeeet, which one was it that went for that much? hand-colored bullet? cough cool?
actually, that is probably my favorite misfits song, and the last record i would pay market price for. i don't care what press it is, or if it's the
hand-colored one, i just want that record.

It was indeed the hand colored Bullet. My favorite Misfits song ever and something I swore I would never part with. It came down to bills needing to
be paid as they were about to go to collections. I didn't want to sell it, but I sold that and an old YOT 7 inch for like $450. It was part with two
valuble 7 inches , or a shitload of cd's and vinyl to make the same money. There's Misfits vinyl on ebay all the time and I've seen a couple go for
over 2 grand.

man, the funny thing is you might luck out and find one at a flea market, or used music store that has no idea who judge is for like 25 cents. I don't
get the whole collecting thing myself, it's about music. Vinyl does sound better, but damn 1700 for a record? No thanks!

I HATE VINYL !
i understand if kids buy it and actually listen to it, but that is so rare. so many people just collect them so they can have a "CRUCIAL RECORD
COLLECTION". it's just another shitty trend.

I own over 1,000 CDs and a couple hundred records. I listen to my records all the time. I just rip my CDs to my computer/external hard drive so I
don't have to pull them out. The only reason I prefer listening to records is because it's a much more involved experience. It seems like you end up
paying attention more with having to flip the record over and such.

I think Duane explains it a little bit in the older thread.
I collect some vinyl, but I listen to everything I have. A friend of mine doesnt though. He looks at his records as an investment of sorts, and he
wants to be able to call his records "mint" when he sells them and actually mean it. Some people post test presses on ebay saying "NEVER BEEN
PLAYED!!!", but arent all test presses played at least once?

I really need to meet the fucking retard that paid that much money for a shitty piece of plastic. My bid? 10 cents if Judge is on it and a dollar if
it's blank.
