Cause for Alarm is the shit. The Eliminator is one of AF's best tracks. They got alot of them, but that record rips form the very beginning.

But Victim In Pain.....I will put it right at level with JCHE in my mind.

Both dirty sounding all the way thru.

Both records were part of a major changing moment in my life as a much younger man.
after years of being a metal dude , I listened to Victim and was like, yeah that's it, with the aggression and rawness and then with JCHE I was like holy shit this is "real".

well enough of me, I've been up for around 30 hours straight now.............

I like Cause for Alarm, but I would have gone with United Blood or Victim in Pain. Cause for Alarm is what got them exposed to a larger audience, so I suppose there is some argument for it being picked.

At The Drive In and Rites of Spring aren't hardcore. No matter what label people want to attach to it. "Post hardcore" for the most part is when shit starting getting all indie pop. Nothing of that genre should be listed as "best hardcore albums in history." Ever.
