I know a lot of people must spout off about how much they wish Sheer Terror was still going, but Joe Coffee is every bit as good, if not better than
they ever were. The only reasons I might have more to say about Sheer Terror is (number 1) they were around for a long time and have been on my
turntable since I was in High School, and (number 2) they have a LOT more recordings out there. If Joe Coffee ever ends up with even half as many
releases as Sheer Terror put out, I'll be one happy motherfucker.
I can definitely understand the frustration of being written off for not being what some anonymous person expects you to be, pretty much my whole life
has been about not fitting anyone's expectations and being an outsider for it. I know the bands I've done have always ended up disregarded because we
didn't fit in anywhere. Anyway, as far as Joe Coffee goes, I think they easily stand on their own and shouldn't have to be compared to anything that

Me personally, I consider Paul an excellent songwriter. He doesn't hold back anything. Pure emotion. Songs like Ashes, Roses, Close My Eyes put them
in a catagory that I held higher in regard than the regular garden variety hardcore band. The lyrics / vocals on Bright as The Stars Were Under are
even better. I would like to see him continue his career. I'd like to see him get some cash out of it, because seriously, the guy has been in this

Joe Coffee is definitely a progression from the Sheer Terror stuff. It's more rock oriented and way more dynamic than ST. The lyrics also have a
progressive feel to them. Mr. Bearer definitely paints a vivid picture of where he has come from and where he is as well as where he would rather be.

This is actually the "second half" of the last season. It's the last 9 episodes ever. They were planning that even from the beginning of the previous
season. I think thats why the second half of the last season blew is it was a larger story arc leading into these final episodes...at least the
wacked out Vito...so no more Johnny Cakes episodes will have to be suffered through.
Still...even a bad episode of Sopranos is better than about 95% of whatever else is on TV.

Anyone read any Dennis Lehane novels? Real good detective novel stuff, he wrote Mysitc River. Anyway, he has a series of 5 books about these two PI's
that are pretty amazing and one of the better ones (although thats a hard choice) has been made a movie. It's called Gone baby Gone and has a whole
bunch of choice people including my boy Ed Harris...and Slaine as the almighty Bubba Rogowski. The catch....directed by Ben Affleck....could go either
way....I think the story is too dark and solid for even him to muck up though....cant wait.

Theres a big fuckin hole in my shower, 3 feet in diameter atleast. Someone shit in the shower last week too, and it flooded down to the second deck
