people were all about it when i lived in baltimore, and i thought it couldn't live up to the hype. caught on late, and damn, was i wrong. show is amazing. just finished the series about a month ago.

gotta say, i'm happy i caught on late and got all the episodes at once. only thing that kills me about watching the shield (when it was on) and sons of anarchy is that i hate waiting a week - or 9 months - for a new episode.

favorites: omar, bodie, stringer bell, mcnulty

guys that played mcnulty and herc showed up at a beer garden in baltimore i was at... i didn't know the show then, but everyone else made it clear who they were. i was real tempted to go up to herc, tell him how i love the show... blah blah blah... then make it clear i was talking about the shield the entire time and thought he was vic mackey.

Definitely top 5 for me, of any style of show. Incredible all the way through. Great writing and acting. So many great moments and characters.
