Mary, your basically explaining why I didn't go last year.

I am usually ready for bed by 11, and not down for the whackyness of my younger friends.

Yup, I guess I am trying to replicate my real life balance here in Boston- hang out, have some fun, laugh at the Shenanahanigans, etc., then when I've had enough, realize I don't want to sleep through the entire next day, or we go to some awful party, I can peace.

yeah i tend to not party on weeknights. I've got my love for alcohol under control. Wasn't drunk once last weekend. Kinda proud of myself.

Good for you. I used to quit for a month or two every once in a while to keep my tolerance down and prove I could do it.

FYI, I have booked my oasis of mature peace at the Econolodge. 1 1/2 mi. away from the Red Roof, a good compromise.

Next cheapest after the Red Roof, the Red Roof, the Red Roof is on fire!

I used cheaptickets.com.

We should make the 2nd floor of the Econolodge the geriatric ward.
