This is actually the "second half" of the last season. It's the last 9 episodes ever. They were planning that even from the beginning of the previous
season. I think thats why the second half of the last season blew is it was a larger story arc leading into these final episodes...at least the
wacked out Vito...so no more Johnny Cakes episodes will have to be suffered through.
Still...even a bad episode of Sopranos is better than about 95% of whatever else is on TV.
Honestly though...I'm looking forward to season 5 of The Wire most...I know that won't disappoint...the Sopranos though...makes me nervous.

Yeah every single season has been amazing. The last season though was its peak and the montage at the end of the last episode seemed like it was
leading into a season that would far surpass it...Like all the stars were aligning for one big blowout.

I think in this last nine they're going to kill significant players just for shock value to the regular viewers. I can't wait to see how the story
ends though. As far as endings for HBO series, I think six feet under is still my favorite final episode.

Yeah their being REALLY tight lipped about everything this "season" for seasons 5 and 6 part 1 I had a good deal of the plotline/story arc figured out
from spoilers on the various soprano boards.
This time though....not a thing is out there and its 2 months away.
