It's not what they are now. It's like saying that Bon Scott era AC/DC was it. Totally ignoring that Back In Black was their best selling and most
well known and a post-Bon cd.
Do or Die is definitely weak in comparison to Gang's. It was great '96 punk but DKM as a band have solidified in the past couple of releases. Do or
Die seems to be what everyone longs for but will never get back.
Maybe I'm just jaded cause I get upset when people say shit like DKM were better with Mike.

Agreed. Although I must admit that when The Murphys were with Mike, they were my favorite current band. I picked up that split they did with Ducky
Boys when it first came out and I was immediately hooked. I got everything they released as soon as possible until Mike left the band. I was really
worried after that just because I don't think changing vocalists is ever a good idea. They definitely pulled it off with Al, but they will never be
the band they were, or even really the same type of band, in my eyes anyway. They're still great, but not something that goes straight to my heart the
way they did before.

That was something Ken Casey used to do with TKO Records but it's been done for a few years now.

I don't know where to start with this one. Throwing your hat in the ring with AC/DC era Bon Scott? It's pretty well known that Bon wrote most of the
songs on "Back In Black" and the band did end up switching some of the lyrics. It's pretty obvious because everything they put out after that was a
pile of shit sans a few songs here & there. Bon Scott era AC/DC is the best rock n roll band period. There is no competition. Just my opinion though.
Dropkick Murphys. I haven't listened to anything since "Do Or Die"...the songs that were reworked, I didn't really care for at all. Preferred the
originals. Not a case of me thinking they're sellouts or anything, just haven't really had a desire to hunt down the newer albums.

Not true at all. Bon didn't have anything to do with Back In Black at all. There's rumour that he recorded some drums on the record but other than
that it wasn't started until after he died.
And being a fairly big AC/DC fan, you obviously haven't listened to enough Brian era stuff. For Those About To Rock is a GREAT cd, as is Razors Edge
and Flick Of The Switch. All great rock n roll.
See, i'm bias about DKM because they're my #1. No matter what they do, I'll like it. I just won't go see them anymore because of all the bro's at
shows.

No, you are in fact wrong on Bon not writing most of "Back In Black".....just go do a little digging around on the internet. You are truly fucking
high saying that about later era AC/DC. Dude, I was smoking weed, jamming ac/dc and doing tabletops on my Haro in the mid-80's when you were probably
playing with Transformers. I'm plenty familiar with all their material. Brian Johnson era AC/DC pales in comparison. It's a proven fact that they were
working on "Back In Black" before he died (almost 5 months before).

"Back in Black was the first AC/DC album recorded without former lead singer Bon Scott, who had died in February 1980. The band considered disbanding
following Scott's death, but ultimately decided to continue and shortly thereafter hired Brian Johnson as their new lead singer and lyricist. Though
the Young brothers had begun work on this album prior to Scott's death, and Scott had written lyrics for potential new songs, the decision was made to
redo the album from scratch upon hiring Johnson."
I'm probably not as old as you sure, but my friend is probably the biggest AC/DC fan I've ever met.
And I agree, Rose Tattoo is miles ahead of AC/DC!

What you are not understanding is that the band was working on "Back In Black" before Bon died. He wrote most of the album before he died. Therefore
he was a main contributor on it. It was hardly made from scratch. Yes, Rose Tattoo smokes except I don't really care for anything past the 3rd album.
There would be no Rose Tattoo without Acca Dacca.

It was actually made from scratch. Watch the documentary that came with the Back In Black remaster in 2005.

There is an actual recording of Bon Scott singing the song "Back In Black". I'll see if I can dig it up.
After looking into this further, I'm pretty sure you're right on there not being a recorded version but I'll still stand by Bon writing alot of the
lyrics on "Back In Black"....

No, you don't know what you're talking about. You're regurgitating what your friend has told you. It was common knowledge when I was growing up that
Bon had written most of the album before he died. Anyways, I feel dumber for arguing with someone who actually listens and enjoys H2O.

Well, my friend obviously knows more about it than you. So I'm not arguing about it anymore.
Now you're just stooping to ridiculous lows and that's pathetic.

Not sure if you're being serious or not but it was a NYHC band started by the Morse brothers. First album is alright if you like '88 youth crew posi
core but after that it's pretty much Good Charlotte jerking off New Found Glory. Really bad pop punk.

I don't see the Good Charlotte comparison at all. New Found Glory, maybe.
